Visit Victor Hugo's house

While in St Peter Port, visit the magnificent Hauteville House, the Guernsey home of Les Misérables author Victor Hugo. Here Hugo wrote some of his most famous works when in exile for 15 years including Toilers of the Sea, The Man Who Laughs and The Legend of the Ages.

Island hop to Herm

Spend a morning on the nearby car-free island of Herm and really get away from it all. Enjoy a walk round the island followed by lunch at the Mermaid Tavern or Shell Beach Kiosk.
