If, as a result of a new change to government regional classifications, you have to isolate for four nights or more, Blue Sure offers the following protection:

Change your flight without a fee and no fare difference, or choose a voucher

Refund if no longer legal to travel

Blue Sure is a limited initiative designed to provide all customers with peace of mind and protection that should their plans be affected by a government change to travel restrictions as we emerge from the Covid 19 pandemic we will move the flight or offer a voucher. In the event that travel is not legally possible, a refund option would also be available. 

Once conditions return to normal Blue Sure will be withdrawn, bookings made on or after 8 April 2021 and prior to the withdrawal of Blue Sure would be eligible for the Blue Sure benefits.

 

Blue Sure applies to new bookings with departures on or after 8 April 2021. 

Blue Sure means that if you need to isolate for four nights or more you can change your flight. Contact Customer Care via customercare@blueislands.com or 01234 589200 with your alternative flight requirements or request for a voucher. 

While Blue Sure wouldn’t cover this scenario, you can still change your flights. For customers with a Blue Fly fare, there is a £20 change fee, plus a fare difference may apply. For customers who have booked a Blue Plus fare, you can make unlimited changes up to three hours before departure (fare difference may apply).  

All changes can be made via Manage my Booking. 

We recognise that Regional Classification affects every customer differently.

With Blue Sure if you are affected by a change in regional classification you can change your flight or opt for a voucher providing your flight departs within 14 days and you will need to isolate for four nights or more. 

Throughout the pandemic we have maintained Jersey’s lifeline connectivity allowing essential travel as required. If changing restrictions mean you are not allowed to travel then our Blue Sure flexibility promise will allow you to change your flight, opt for a voucher or choose a full refund.
