Stores administrator

Aircraft consist of thousands of parts and consumables, this exciting role sits at the heart of the engineering function, working closely with the wider team to support requirements and help ensure the fleet is available for busy operation.

Responsibilities include all aspects of inventory control, ensuring accuracy is maintained and ensuring items are stored in accordance with procedure, ensuring compliance at all times, plus you will assist with procurement and logistics. With a ‘can-do’ attitude, accuracy you will work well within a fast-paced team environment and be IT proficient.

The successful candidate will have experience of stores management, although some training will be provided; you will also require a full driving licence.

Technical Services Administrator / Manager

Whether you are a graduate with a passion for aviation and engineering, or boast a wealth of experience from an airline or Continued Airworthiness Organisation, the role will be fully created to suit the successful applicant.

The Continued Airworthiness Management team is responsible for the management for our fleet of ATR 72-212A series aircraft. As well as providing technical administration services, you will manage aircraft maintenance data. The role will include regular communication with aircraft engineers and various manufacturers to ensure the latest documentation and directives are implemented as required. With excellent communication skills you will provide liaison between management and other stakeholders.

With exceptional numeracy skills together with a meticulous attention to detail, you will be IT proficient and familiar with using various specialist applications and system interfaces, working in a highly regulated and fast-paced environment.

B1 - B2 Engineer

Blue Islands is seeking type rated and experienced on the ATR 72 with valid UK CAA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 Licence to join our busy Jersey based Line Maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of Blue Islands fleet of ATR 72 aircraft in accordance with Part 145 regulations.
  • Scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and/or defect rectification

Qualifications:

  • UK CAA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence, Category B1 and/or B2 with the following type ratings: ATR 72
  • (Or have applied for a UK CAA Part 66 conversion with an EASA Part 66 Licence before 31 Dec 2022)
  • 6 months certified experience on type within the last two years (verification letter and/or logbook signed/stamped will be requested)
  • Experience in line and/or base maintenance environment
  • Fluent in English
  • EWIS, FTS, HF training certificates
