Blue Islands

Today the Channel Islands airline launched its new brand identity, new routes, new website and new product offering. The first aircraft sporting the new livery touched down in Jersey and Guernsey.

Blue Islands has launched a survey to understand how we each feel about air travel, and when conditions allow, the factors that are likely to be important when choosing to fly again.

From Monday 8 June, passengers travelling on Blue Islands flights will be required to wear face masks adding to a range of multi-layered measures the airline has already activated for passenger wellbeing.

Even more choice for travel to the South Coast and beyond as Blue Islands adds extra Guernsey – Southampton flights this summer. Blue Islands has further reaffirmed its commitment to its Guernsey – Southampton service.

Blue Islands awarded European tour operators’ contracts for 2020 Channel Island programme. Visitors from Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland will be discovering Guernsey and Jersey in 2020.

Through the #mybi Flight Fund we are delighted to have given young Guernsey air rifle shooter Euan Robert assistance in taking a big positive step towards what looks like a potentially successful career in the sport of Air Rifle shooting.

Blue Islands operated over 30 charter flights from Groningen and Rotterdam between May and mid-September this summer, welcoming 1,400 European tourists for week-long stays in Guernsey.

Blue Islands has been chosen by Loganair as its strategic partner as Scotland’s airline commences a programme to introduce ATR aircraft to its fleet and will draw on Blue Islands’ 10 years of experience in ATR operations.

Flybe’s Channel Islands-based franchise partner, Blue Islands, will operate services between Jersey and East Midlands with effect from Sunday 27 October 2019, with connections to/from Guernsey.

As recipients of flights from Blue Islands’ #mybi Flight Fund which launched in January, thirteen young people from Guernsey recently flew on Blue Islands’ service to Liverpool for the Youth Commission’s ‘Get Away’ project.

Lily was in the Severn Stars U17 team for the Netball Performance League annual. They were narrowly beaten 31-34 by eventual champions Manchester Thunder in the semi-final.

After winning his category in June’s Jersey Triathlon, 11 year old Filip Nowacki fulfilled an amazing opportunity to travel to Bristol and compete against UK Triathletes.
