Travel documentation & Valid ID

Passengers aged 12 or over

All passengers over 12 years of age on domestic flights must provide a suitable official photographic document to prove their identity before travel. The name on the photographic identification document must match the passenger's name exactly. Examples of suitable documents are:

  • A valid passport
  • Domestic flights only - an expired passport up to 2 years from date of expiry
  • Photographic driving licence (Full or Provisional are accepted)
  • Photographic EU or Swiss national identity card
  • Armed forces identity card
  • Police warrant card/badge
  • CitizenCard
  • Valid photographic bus pass
  • Airport or crew security pass
Passengers aged 11 or under

Passengers aged 11 or under may travel using a birth certificate as identification - if using a birth certificate for identification, please contact our Customer Care team to advise at least 48 hours before travel.

  • For all international flights all passengers will need a valid passport, including children and infants that is valid for the full duration of your trip
  • If you have a British passport you will need at least six months of validity when travelling in the EU.
