⚠ IMPORTANT UPDATE - New requirements for travel from Jersey 

Fully vaccinated adults and accompanying children aged 5+ will be required to present a negative PCR test before travelling and complete your States of Guernsey travel tracker. If you are not fully vaccinated, or are unable to meet the pre-travel PCR testing requirements, you will be a Category 4 arrival and required to self-isolate for 14 days.


Fully vaccinated visitor?

  • There are no testing or isolation requirements for fully vaccinated passengers arriving in Guernsey.

 

Not fully vaccinated? 

  • For passengers who are not fully vaccinated, including accompanying children, regional classifications (Category 1, 2, 3 or 4) will determine testing and isolation requirements when arriving in Guernsey. See Gov.gg for details.

 

Children accompanying fully vaccinated visitors

  • Children aged 11 and under travelling to Guernsey do not need to be tested or isolate on arrival. 
  • Children aged 12-17 travelling to Guernsey will be required to take a PCR test on arrival and will need to isolate until their negative test result, usually received within 12 hours.

Travel outside the CTA in the past 14 days

If you have travelled outside the Common Travel Area in the past 14 days, you will be required to isolate based on prevalence rate of region / country of departure. See Gov.gg for details.

 

Testing positive

Anyone testing positive must self-isolate for 14 days. Guernsey's Contact Tracing Team will support you and talk you through the self-isolation process.

 

Returning to the UK

As Guernsey is in the Common Travel Area, there is no testing or isolation required upon returning to the UK, see Gov.gg for more details.
